Computer Classes available

 

The Library is offering FREE basic computer courses. 

Click 'read more' to find out about the program and how to sign up.

Classes will be offered on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 6-8pm in the library community room. Call the Library at 419-533-5721 to sign up.

Class 1 - What is a computer and how does it work?

Class 2 - What is the Internet and how does it work?

Class 3 - What is e-mail and how does it work?

It is recommended that you sign up for an entire month and take the courses in order, as they will build off each other.

Connect Ohio is a non-profit public-private partnership, whose mission is to see all Ohioans connected to the benefits of high-speed Internet service.  Through the Every Citizen Online program, Connect Ohio is assisting libraries and community colleges with the cost of instructors, computers, and public awareness to provide training to as many as 200,000 new users over the next two years.

Participants who complete the classes will be eligible for discounts on first-time broadband Internet access.


New Teen Clubs!

The Liberty Center Public Library has two new clubs for teens to join.

 
The Runescape club is for 10-17 year olds who enjoy playing the online fantasy game.  The group meets the first Tuesday of every month from 3:15-5 in the library community room.  To sign up, download and print this flier and turn it in to library staff.  You could be entered to win a Runescape membership gift card!
 
 
 
The Teen Scrapbooking Club is for 10-18 year olds who want to preserve memories, talk with other scrapbookers and share knowledge and supplies.  This club will meet the first Thursday of every month from 3:30-5 in the library community room.  Download and print this flier to turn in to library staff.  You could win crafting supplies and gift cards!
