Preschool Storytime Several Preschool Storytime sessions are held throughout the school year. This one-half hour program is intended to help children learn the skills they will need to possess to be Ready to Read when they begin school. Story Hour
During the months of June and July, a weekly program of
stories, games, demonstrations, and crafts
is offered for children who have just finished grades Kindergarten through 6th. The slogan for 2008 will be Catch the Reading Bug @ Your Library. Watch for forthcoming information in the spring.
Summer
Reading Program
In conjunction with the Summer Story Hour, a
Summer Reading Program is offered to
encourage reading during the summer months
and to create an enthusiasm for reading.
Prizes are awarded on a weekly basis and at
the end of July.
Attendance is not required.
